Priest of the Diocese of Cork and Ross, ordained in 1976. Undergraduate studies at Maynooth (BA, BD) and UCC (H.Dip. in Ed.). Graduate studies at UCC (MA) and Institut Catholique, Paris (DD). Teacher, St Finbarr’s College, Farranferris, Cork (1976-80); Dean of Formation, St Patrick’s College, Maynooth (1980-83); Teacher and Vice-President, St Finbarr’s College, Farranferris (1983-90); President, St Finbarr’s College (1990-98); Parish Priest, Our Lady Crowned Parish, Mayfield, Cork (1998-2000); Post-graduate studies, Institut Catholique, Paris (2000-2006); Administrator, Ballinhassig Parish, Cork (2006-7); Parish Priest, Glanmire, Cork (2007-12); Lecturer in Systematic Theology, Pontifical College Maynooth (2012-present)
