On Wednesday 6th May, the Rector was delighted to officially launch the annual edition of the Seminary Journal Síolta. The theme for this year's Síolta "Unity and Peace" is inspired by the Motto of Pope Leo XIV, In Illo Uno Unum (In the One, we are one). The journal is packed with articles and interest pieces, ranging from "Cooking Up Peace and Unity" from the Catering Manager, to "Appreciating the Music of Fr Liam Lawton" and an article from our most recently ordained alumnus, Fr Stephen Sherry. There is also a message from the Vatican Secretariat of State on behalf of the Holy Father in which Pope Leo XIV "invokes the abundant gifts of the Holy Spirit upon the seminarians at Saint Patrick's Seminary" and prays that each one "will respond generously and courageously to the Lord's call to be peacemakers in a world divided and torn apart by many conflicts."
