Bishop John Fleming (Emeritus of Killala and former Rector of the Pontifical Irish College, Rome) directed the Opening Retreat of the new formation year from 18-21 September. The community was greatly enriched by his contributions on Priestly Celibacy, Obedience and Simplicity of Life and on the Spirituality of the Diocesan Priest, all of which were delivered with warmth, wisdom and wit. We pray that Bishop John will continue to enjoy his retirement and that he will enjoy good health and happiness for many years to come.
