During the calendar year 2024, five members of the Seminary Community were ordained to the Diaconate in their home Dioceses:
- Mark Quinn (Tuam) was ordained Deacon by Archbishop Francis Duffy on Sunday 7th January in St Mary’s Church, Westport, Co. Mayo.
- Anthony Kerr Meath) was ordained Deacon by Bishop Tom Deenihan on Sunday 21st January in St Mary’s Church, Drogheda, Co. Louth.
- Seán Murphy (Kerry) was ordained Deacon by Bishop Ray Browne in St James’ Church, Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry on Sunday 28th January.
- Killian Heney (Cashel and Emly) was ordained Deacon by Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly in St Michael’s Church, Tipperary on Sunday 28th April and
- Tim Collins (Limerick) was ordained to the Diaconate by Bishop Brendan Leahy on Sunday 15th September in St John the Baptist Church, Croagh, Co. Limerick.
There have been four ordinations to the Priesthood for Irish Dioceses so far this year:
- Anthony Hartnett (Raphoe) was ordained by Bishop Alan McGuckian SJ on Sunday 9th June in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
- Jordan MacGabhann (Kilmore) was ordained in the Cathedral of St Patrick and St Felim, Cavan Town, on Sunday 23rd June by Bishop Martin Hayes.
- Mark Quinn (Tuam) was ordained Priest in the Church of the Holy Rosary in his home town of Castlebar on Sunday 7th July by Archbishop Francis Duffy and
- Seán Murphy (Kerry) was ordained to the Priesthood in Glenbeigh in his parish church on Sunday 18th August by Bishop Ray Browne.
