On Wednesday 9th March, the Seminary Community gathered for the second time since Lent began, to pray a Holy Hour in solidarity with the people of Ukraine for peace and healing. The Holy Hour was led by the Rector, Fr Tomás Surlis. Music and singing was animated by College Cantors, David Aksenczuk (Down and Connor) and Conrad Forzeh (Kumba/Elphin), and also by Anthony Hartnett (Raphoe) and Jordan MacGabhann (Kilmore). The Community of Formators and resident seminarians especially remembered Mykola Diachuk and Adam Ivashchyshyn from the Archdiocese of Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine) who were members of the community in recent years.

May the All-Holy Mother of God and Queen of Peace continue to intercede for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine so that peace may reign there and across the globe.
