Launch of Online SWAY Exhibition of New Books

New publications by St Patrick’s faculty members appear prominently in the SWAY online exhibition of new books from staff of Maynooth University and St Patrick’s College. The event, launched on 20th August by Prof. Michael Mullaney, President, St Patrick’s College, is part of our Heritage Week 2021 events. The online exhibition, hosted by the university library, highlights a monograph by Gaven Kerr (Aquinas and the Metaphysics of Creation), plus a Festschrift edited by Andrew Meszaros (The Center is Jesus Christ Himself). It also features three volumes edited by Salvador Ryan (Marriage and the Irish; Domestic Devotions in Medieval and Early Modern Europe; and Northern European Reformations). It also includes three books on Advent, Lent and youth ministry by Gerard Gallagher, who contributes to the pastoral programme.

Three additional volumes contain multiple contributions from St Patrick’s College faculty:

· Models of Priestly Formation, eds. Declan Marmion, Salvador Ryan, and Michael Mullaney;

· We Remember Maynooth, eds. John-Paul Sheridan and Salvador Ryan;

· Maynooth College Reflects on COVID-19, eds. Jeremy Corley, Neil Xavier O’Donoghue and Salvador Ryan.
